A Ladies book club is forming for women 18 yrs or older, who love to read.  The first book will be “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert.  If you would like to participate, obtain your copy of the book and enjoy a good read.  Our first meeting will be on, Tuesesday, August 31st, @ 6:30 PM, in the Rock Spring Lobby area where we will discuss the book and have a genuinely good time!  A planned outing to the movie of the same title, starring Julia Roberts is underway for Friday, August 27th. A “Cry Area” has been created in the lobby for parents with infants or toddlers so they can have a quite place and the parents can still view the service via TV.

On August 22 we will have a Tail Gate Baptism party.  On that day there will be ONE SERVICE ONLY at 9:30 AM and then we will have the Tail Gate Baptism.  We will eat first and then have the baptism outside (weather permitting).  Each family will need to bring food and drink for their family and some to share.  Lemonade and Iced Tea will be provided.  We will also have a chili cook-off for those who would like to participate.  Flyers with more information are available at the Welcome Center.  Please call us at 304-724-1942 if you have any questions.

Ladies Only Pool Party
When: August 21st
Where: Barbara Campagna’s house
Time: 11:00am

There will be a ladies only pool party on August 21 at Barbara Campagn’as home in Charles Town. Bring your swimsuit, a covered dish and join us for a fun, relaxing time by the pool. We will gather at 11 AM, have lunch at noon and then swim and socialize into the early evening.

Rock Spring Recovery Team Leaders Needed
This new ministry is gearing up and seeking leadership team members. This ministry will be a support network for those in the midst of addiction and recovery as well as offer support groups and classes. Spring is coming! We are looking for volunteers to be put on a weekly mowing schedule. We will also need people to weed and plant. If you are interested, please indicate on your 411 link card and we will be contacting you. If you have any questions, feel free to call Pastor Mike at 304-279-6876.

We have samples of tee shirts and jackets available for purchase in the lobby. The Rock Spring logo will let the world know that you know where anyone who wants to, can experience God.
